A Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
This course specifies the outcomes required to operate a forklift truck for licensing purposes and involves the operation of a forklift truck to perform work.
The course requires the operator to plan the work, conduct routine checks, determine loads to lift safely and operate and shut down a forklift. This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.

Training is delivered over 3 days face to face including theory and practical training over 2 days with an assessment on the third day.
On successful completion of training and assessment, participants will receive a Assessment Summary to apply for their National Licence to Perform High Risk Work.
Participants must be over 18 years of age, be able to speak and understand English and provide 100 points of identification as per WorkSafe NSW requirements.
